Last Friday, December 19 i went back to my Alma mater UST for the annual PASKUHAN. Its like an annual Christmas Party for the whole Thomasian community. The highlight of the evening was the fireworks display which i didn't catch because it started early around 6pm. I met up with some of my friends, it was supposed to be a some kind of a reunion for our barkada but only 3 people showed up. Anyways we had fun even if there were only four of us and at least i got to see them before Christmas Ü But there is one thing that i regret that day... I was not able to see Bamboo perform! (arrrghhh...) We had dinner in Tomas Morato at Il Terrazzo. The place is like a mini Serendra. We dined in Banapple. My friend Ryan adores this resto and i can see why... They offer mouthwatering dishes for a very affordable price! I ate a very delicious Chicken Parmigiana (P160) , Tin and Tetel ordered a Hickory Country Ribs (P155) and Ryan ordered a Herb Chicken (P155). Dessert was very sinful delectable Banoffee Pie (P80-90 per slice). I will definitely go back to this resto and will recommend it to my friends. One draw back though... the place is very small i do hope they would get a much bigger place... Merry Christmas! Ciao ^_^

Twilight Fever

Last Thursday me and some of my friends from the office watched Twilight in Gateway mall in Araneta Cubao. People lined up as early as 12pm to get tickets. (thanks to my boss Jonas who reserved a ticket for us for the 4:30pm screening. Thanks Boss!). I read the book i got curious because almost all of my friends from the office are so hooked on with Edward Cullen, and apparently i too fell in love with Edward (hehehe!). I'm currently reading the 3rd series of the book which is called Eclipse. The Twilight saga which was written by Stephanie Meyer has 4 books: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn... they are still thinking if should push through the Fifth book...

On to the movie... i you read the book (like i do...) you will say that the movie sucks. There are some inconsistency with regards with some facts from the book. and of course VERY POOR CINEMATOGRAPHY! dunno if its because they don have enough budget for the film or its poorly directed. i hope on the second installment of the film they would take note on the mistake that they made on this movie. The book is well written and the film didn't give the book any justice! positive thing on this movie are the cast. Rob Pattison he's OK but needs to improve more on his acting skills. Kristen Stewart is OK as well. I really love Peter Facinelli who played Dr. Carlisle Cullen he's sooo hot :) and also Ashley Greene who played Alice Cullen.

Another thing that i love in the movie was the cars :) as my friends know i am a car addict. I havent expected that the volvo car that their talking about in the book was a Volvo C30 hatch type. there was an exact replica outside the movie theater and i super love it! though i sure hope they did get an M3 BMW for Rosalie's car same as the book described not a SLK or was it a CLK model that was shown in the movie...
