It's a wrap for the American Idol Season 8. over a hundred million votes were gathered, winner has been announced. although i was a bit disappointed with the results, don't get me wrong both of them are a good singers. but there is only one person who stood up from the Top 13 and it's ADAM LAMBERT.
There are a lot of first in the season, like instead of having a final 12 they decided to make it a final 13 and the "SAVE". I have to say this is the most talented batch in the whole 8 season of AI (American Idol).
I was running my ass of just to get home in time to watch the finale. Though i missed some parts like Kara flashing off her bikini while singing with the infamous bikini babe of season 8. I was in time to see some of the good stuff.
* Allison Ireheta did a duet with Cindy Lauper. they sang Cindy's all time hit "Time after Time"
* Danny Gokey and Lionel Ritchie sang "All night long".
* The Best performance of the night Adam Lambert and KISS! Adam sang "Beth" and then he introduce KISS, with pyro flaring KISS made their grand entrance they sang Detroit Rock City. Lambert and KISS did a duet on Rock and Roll all nite. and of course true to every KISS performance it had a guitar smashing ending. aylaveet!
I missed Kris Allen's performance with Keith Urban... But i didn't miss their performance with Queen. One word to describe the performance "OUTSTANDING". Adam out sang Kris on this one. Im sure Fredie Mercury is smiling from wherever he is with Adams performance. No offense to Kris Allen, but this is Adam's forte.
After the performance was the announcing of season 8 winner. Kris Allen won the title. even Allen was so shocked when Ryan Seacrest announced his name.
