Going back to my roots....

Last Monday i went back to my beloved school, The University of Sto. Tomas. Its been ages since my last visit in my school, i think it was last year... i really missed being in UST. i missed eating fishballs in asturias, buying calamares in v.conception, eating luch at Mang Toots carinderia in p.noval and playing DoTa in Evo cafe. Ü I also missed visiting the ust chapel, the one place that i can stay for hours if i want a peace and quite time.

There has been many changes in the campus it self. there are fountains and new buildings like the accontancy building and the student center donated by Lucio Tan. Also the Colayco park where coop canteen was formerly located was turned into some kind of a park where students can rest and study. there is also a big fountain found in the middle of colayco park for a more refreshing and inviting look. here are some the shot i took from my last visit...

Get Together with my Gurl friends!!!

finally! it's been a year since i last saw my gurl friends (well actually si ella lang pla!). i met these gurls in IBM Daksh. we've been friends for about 2 years now... me, selle, apple and ella... they are three of my treasured friends in IBM Daksh :)
we had a reunion with daddy Mark @ Pier 1 in Ortigas...
we had fun sooo much reminiscing the good (and the bad..) old thomson days and our all our "kalurkyhan" hahaha...

a day in the City of Springs...

Thomson Tier 2 held its second team building last saturday at City of Springs in Pansol Laguna.

After an exhausting 48 hours of finding a resort for the team building we all end up in Pansol Laguna. which i think is the land of hot springs and resorts. its not my first time in Pansol (actually its my second time. first would be with Team pisces and Scorpio - our very first team building)

trip to the place took about almost 2 hours because of the traffic. traffic is a very usual thing specially in south express way. good thing that i was with a bunch of funny people who made the trip not a bore.

we arrive 'round lunch time (i think...) place is called City of springs. its inside a small village or barangay. the resort is near laguna the bay... if i may rate the place will rate it a 2 stars **. the view is not that breathtakin' and place is not that cozy... and i dont get their idea of putting an indoor pool inside the room... (what the???!!) some say its for privacy purposes but i really dont like the pool being near the beds..

well enough of the place, we ate a yummy "Kaldereta (extra spicy)" and "ang walang kamatayang ADOBO!" which is a staple to all outings Ü

all in all the outing is quite relaxing i got to sleep for about 6-8 hours.. (which is good!) and i have alot of fun singing my heart out in the karaoke machine (one of my stress reliever) and people from Tier 2 makes the trip worthwhile.. Ü
