we got to MOA around 6pm trying to be early to avoid long lines and whatnot. unfortunately my friend Leigh is running late so we decided to grab some dinner. Just as expected most of the restos around the mall are jammed packed so we tried to find a place that's not that crowded. we stumbled upon a coffee shop named Chaikofi. The place looks very cozy. I love the interiors of the shop. There are lots of tea cups on the wall it looks sooo cute. But im not a fan of their couch. Its too small to fit in 4 people... the food was ok and the service... damn it took us about 10-15 minutes to call the attention of one of the crew. to think there are only about less than 30 people in the shop... tsk tsk tsk... bad service but good ambiance. oh well...
in the concert venue, lines started to queue up, and when we got in 'lo and behold its like youre in a can of sardines. the place was super jammed pack with lots of Eheads fans from all kinds of generations. according to the news there was around a hundred thousand attendee for the said event. No wonder the ground was shaking back then (literally!). Ely, Raymund, Buddy and Marcus rocked the Mall of Asia concert grounds with their hit songs some of it are magasin (opening song), trip to jerusalem, poor man's grave, Huwag Mo Nang Itanong (reggae version) which was sung by Marcus, Torpedo.
On the second set of the show there was a couch in the middle of the stage, immediately i knew they were going take it slow and do an acoustic rendition of their songs but what surprised me was the songs they performed. I thought they are going to perform some of their slow songs like with a smile, fruit cake etc. They performed Julie Tearjerky, Tikman, Wishing Wells, Fine Time, Pare Ko, Kailan, Back2Me, Trip to Jerusalem, Spolarium (my personal favorite), and Overdrive.

On the Third set they performed SuperProxy (Francis m. was supposed to be a surprise guest that night but we all know what happen - rest in peace to the great master rapper), Minsan, they sung the chorus of Kaleidoscope World as a tribute to the master rapper Francis M., and Huling El Bimbo which was supposed to be their final song. At the end of the song Ely burned the sticker happy piano which was one of the symbolic instrument of the band ('memba the sticker happy album?!). 'Twas the end of the show people are still asking for more (but of course who wouldn't?!) so to avoid a stampede we rushed off to the exit while outside waiting for some of our friends... Then i heard someone on stage asking "kaya nio pa ba?!.... ano three for the road?!"
Then my friend drag me (literally - thanks leigh) back inside. they did 3 more songs Ligaya, Sem Break (another one of my favorites), and Toyang. While singing toyang Ely went down the stage and spent some time with the fans (how i wish i was infront!). and yep the historical concert of the most popular band in the Philippines has to end. God they even beat Rhianna and Chris Brown's concert. i wasn't able to take lots of pics i grab some from azraelsmerryland.blogspot.com
